Overview
This tour takes you to Masai Mara which is known as one of Africa’s Greatest Wildlife Reserves, situated in southwest Kenya and is part of the northern section of the Serengeti National Park. Famous for the abundance of the big cats, Lion, Leopard, Cheetah and the Great Wildebeest Migration and the Maasai people, well known for their distinctive custom and dress.
Tour Lake Nakuru National Park which lies in Central Kenya, 140km north-west of Nairobi, in Nakuru district of the Rift Valley Province. The ecosystem comprises of the lake, surrounded by mainly wooded and bushy grasslands. The park supports a wide ecological diversity with Flamingos (Greater and Lesser) and other water birds being the major attractions of the area. The ecosystem provides for about 56 different species of mammals including the white rhino and buffaloes and a variety of terrestrial birds numbering nearly 450 species.
Explore Lake Baringo in Kenya’s Great Rift Valley which is a dramatically situated freshwater lake approximately 22 km long by 11 kms wide. Evidence of its violent volcanic origins is all around, and especially in the extraordinary stepped basalt cliffs to the West of the lake. The Lake is home to hippos and crocodiles as well as an abundance of colourful birds and small reptiles. Giraffe and other grazers are also present to the north of the lake.
You will also tour Lake Bogoria National Reserve which covers 107 km sq and is easily reached from either through Nakuru or Lake Baringo. The reserve is most famous for its flamingo population, its strange and quite stunning scenery and the presence of the rare Greater Kudu. It is better to visit the Lake either in the early morning or late evening, as it is fiercely hot at midday and so staying in the area is probably the best option.
Finally, tour Zanzibar which is located approximately 35 kilometers off the coast of Tanzania in the Indian ocean, and about 72 kilometers north of Dar es Salaam, Zanzibar Island is endowed with some of the most stunning beaches in the world. The island has more than 30 pristine beaches that leave holidaymakers spoilt for choice during their Zanzibar holiday. These include Nungwi, arguably the best beach in Zanzibar, Mangapwani, Matemwe, Pwani Mchangani, Kiwengwa and many others.
